9. Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found
out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to
see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. À¯´ëÀεéÀÌ ¿¹¼ö´Ô²² ±×°÷¿¡ °è½Å´Ù´Â °ÍÀ»,

=The great multitude (or Many) therefore of the Jews heard (or learned,

got to know, had news) that he was in Bethany, and they came not for Jesus'
sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom he had brought back

=When the ordinary (or common) people of Jerusalem heard of his arrival,
they flocked to see not only Jesus but also Lazarus-the man who had come

=Word got out (or It became widely known) among the Jews that he was back
in town. The people came to take a look, not only at Jesus but also at
Lazarus,

Not only did they ignore the protest, [but] they also lied to the press.

10. So the chief priests made plans to kill
Lazarus as well, ±×·¡¼ ´ëÁ¦»çÀåµéÀº ³ª»ç·Îµµ ¶ÇÇÑ Á×ÀÌ·Á°í ¸ðÀÇÇÏ¿´´Ù.
=But the chief priests plotted (or planned, conspired, consulted together,
thought,
resolved, decided) to do away with Lazarus also.

Lazarus to death also.

11. or on account of him many of the Jews

leaders deserted them (or left them, turned away, went away, turned from

rejected them, went off, drew from and left the Judeans, fell away) and
believed

trusted) in
Jesus as their Messiah.
