Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.유대인의 큰 무리가 예수께서 여기 계신 줄을 알고 오니 이는 예수만 위함이 아니요 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 나사로도 보려 함이러라
So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well,
대사장들이 나사로까지 죽이려고 모의(謀議)하니
for on account of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and putting their faith in him. 나사로 까닭에 많은 유대인이 가서 예수를 믿음이러라

9. Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. 유대인들이 예수님께 그곳에 계신다는 것을, 알고 떼를 지어 몰려왔다. 그들은 예수님을 보려는 것뿐만이 아니라, 예수님께서 죽은 사람들 가운데서 살리신 나사로 를 보려고 왔다.
*whom=for him
=The great multitude (or Many) therefore of the Jews heard (or learned, knew,
got to know, had news) that he was in Bethany, and they came not for Jesus'
sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom he had brought back

He did it for the for the sake of money. 그는 그것을 돈 때문에 했다
=When the ordinary (or common) people of Jerusalem heard of his arrival, they flocked to see not only Jesus but also Lazarus-the man who had come back to life again. *ordinary a. 일상적인(=customary), 평범한(=commonplace)

=Word got out (or It became widely known) among the Jews that he was back
in town. The people came to take a look, not only at Jesus but also at Lazarus,

10. So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well, 그래서 대제사장들은 나사로도 또한 죽이려고 모의하였다.
=But the chief priests plotted (or planned, conspired, consulted together, thought,
resolved, decided) to do away with Lazarus also.
=But the chief priests took counsel (or consulted) that they might put Lazarus to death also.
*take (or hold) counsel 상의 *협의하다(with, together)(=consult with)

11. or on account of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and putting their faith in him. 그것은 나사로로 인하여 많은 유대인들이 그들을 버리고 떠나, 예수님을 믿었기 때문이다.
=since it was because of him (or on his account) that many of the Jewish
leaders deserted them (or left them, turned away, went away, turned from them,
rejected them, went off, drew from and left the Judeans, fell away) and believed
(or became believers, had belief, withdrew, put their faith, faithfully trusted) in
Jesus as their Messiah.
*It was because of her illness (or because she was ill) [that] we decided to return.
우리가 돌아가기로 정한 것은 그녀가 병이 있었기 때문이었다.

=because by reason of him (or on his account) many of the Jews withdrew and
believing in Jesus.
